Museum of Menorca – Mahón
Located in the old convent of San Francisco from 1459, the Museum of Menorca ( Menorca museums ) is the most important on the island with a huge collection. There you can discover the cultural heritage of Menorca , from ancient times to the present. In its 3 floors you can discover the history of the island through objects, works of art and installations.
Schedule :
From July to September:
Tuesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10 am to 2 pm.
From September 21 to May:
Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rates : general admission € 4 and free admission on Sundays.

Diocesà Museum of Menorca – Ciutadella
In the old Convent of San Agustín in Ciutadella , built in the seventeenth century, is the Museum Diocesan from Menorca. Inside the building we find a cloister with a central garden and a church. In this museum we can discover archeology pieces, jewelery, goldsmiths, works of art , among others that allow us to know the history of the city.

Ca n’Oliver – Mahón
We enter a luxurious house that the merchant Llorenç Oliver i Morillo built for him and his family, designed by two Italian architects and exquisitely decorated with frescoes on the walls and ceilings. Today, this building houses the private art collection of Francesc Hernández Sanz and his family .

Municipal Museum – Ciutadella
A small museum of the ancient history of the island, in the Bastió de sa Font . This building was built in 1677 to protect one of the entrances to the wall of Ciutadella , and today it amazes its visitors with its stone vaults inside. The Municipal Museum of Ciutadella presents a collection of paleontological remains, jewelry and everyday objects that help to know the history of the capital of the island.

Menorca Military Museum – Mahón
Inside a building built in 1771 by the British is this military museum. On It is Castell This place served as a British barracks and included a hospital and an artillery academy. Distributed on two floors, here you will know the military history of Menorca from Neolithic times to today.

Menorca Geology Center – Ferreries
